Rice in Argentina

Join us for Rice in Argentina, a 6-week, 6-credit study abroad program in Buenos Aires, led by Dr. José Cicerchia. Students will be immersed in the language and culture through homestay, coursework, excursions, service experiences, and language partners. Students will take two Rice courses, one focusing on Business and Social Justice, and one focusing on Latin American Literature. Two courses that count for academic credit, twelve academic field trips, language exchange and cultural interaction, cultural immersion and civic engagement, nearly daily non-academic field trips, two meals per day plus occasional lunches hosted by IFSA and a farewell dinner, single rooms through host families and laundry is provided once a week.

The program is open to students of any Rice major. Scholarships are available to offset the program costs.
