Rice in France

Join us for Rice in France, a six-week study abroad program. While there, students will take two French courses at the 300 level with Dr. Emami and a local instructor from our partner institution. During the six weeks, students will be immersed in the language and culture through homestay, excursions, community service experiences, and meetings with local language partners. Both courses carry D1 credit and count toward the CLIC Language Certificate. You are eligible to apply if you have taken FREN 264 (or will be taking it during Spring 2023) or have been placed into any 300 level FREN courses or have taken a 300 level FREN course. Students who have already taken 400 level FREN courses are no longer eligible.
