Join us for Rice in France, a six-week study abroad program. While there, students will take two French courses at the 300 level with a Rice CLIC faculty and a local instructor from our partner institution. During the six weeks, students will be immersed in the language and culture through homestay, excursions, community service experiences, and meetings with local language partners. Students will receive Rice credit for both courses and they will also count toward the CLIC Language Certificate. You are eligible to apply if you have taken FREN 264 (or will be taking it during Spring 2024) or have been placed into a 300-level FREN course or have taken a 300-level FREN course (some exceptions may apply). Students who have already taken 400-level FREN courses are no longer eligible.
