Join us for Rice in France, a seven-week study abroad program. While there, students will take two French courses at the 300 level with a Rice CLIC faculty member and a local instructor from our partner institution. During the first five weeks, students will be immersed in the language and culture through homestay, excursions, community service experiences, and meetings with local language partners in Toulouse. The final two weeks will be spent at the Rice Global Paris Center in Paris. Students will receive Rice credit for both courses, which count toward the CLIC Language Certificate. You are eligible to apply if you have taken FREN 264 (or will be taking it during Spring 2025), have been placed into a 300-level FREN course, or have taken a 300-level FREN course (some exceptions may apply). Students who have already taken 400-level FREN courses are no longer eligible.
