Modern Hebrew is an exciting new addition to CLIC, beginning Fall 2024! The Center teaches first-year Modern Hebrew, with the hope of expanding it to the second year going forward.
Hebrew is the spoken language in Israel (alongside Arabic) and offers a gateway to one of the original languages of the Bible. As a Semitic language, it is closely related to Arabic, Aramaic and Syriac.
Modern Hebrew is an option to fulfill the requirement for the minor in Jewish Studies.
