Eun Young Oh received her Ph.D. in Educational Technology from Seoul National University (SNU) in South Korea. She received a certificate to teach Korean as a second language while she studied in M.A. Her primary research focuses on computer-supported language learning environments, in particular, how to facilitate second language learning through the use of technology, such as virtual reality and speech recognition technology.
Prior to coming to Rice University, she taught the Korean language for international students for over 13 years at SNU and Indiana University Bloomington. Dr. Oh co-authored four Korean textbooks and workbooks, Seoul National University Korean Language Level 1A & 1B.
